Visiting Ross Castle in Ireland

Last year, we took a trip to Ireland.  I’ve always wanted to go. And it was so much more than I was expecting!  The people are warm and friendly and welcoming.  The country is as green as I’d read about in books and seen in the movies.  And we got to see so many amazing places… Dublin, Claire,County Cork, Galway, Kerry – just to name a few.  This is one of the amazing shots I got to take at Ross Castle… What I really love about this one is the the reflection.

And that’s what I want you to do today – even if its only for 15 minutes.  Reflect on what ‘living the dream lifestyle’ would really mean to you.  If there was nothing standing in your way – what would you want?  Where would you go? Who would be your friends? Where would you live?

Something else I’ve learned is that this life, this moment – it’s not a ‘dress rehearsal’.  We don’t get ‘do-overs’ the way we did when we were kids, playing games with our friends.  So if you’re serious about wanting something else – something different… If you really want to live the life you know you were meant to live – what are you waiting for?

  1. What will you now do tomorrow because of what you did today?

  2. Wow! I really enjoyed this blog. You give me many good information, thank you!

Wow… you really made me think about what I want out of life and what my dream lifestyle would look like. I’m going to have to think about this some more because I really don’t know the answer to that.

You are really brave to do what you did and to be living the life you’re living now. I heard an interview you did about moving to the south of France with your kids. I don’t think I could have done that when my kids were young. I’m not even sure I could do that now!

Well, this post gave me some things to think about. I want to build a dream lifestyle too, but it’s not always easy. I can’t believe how close it is to the end of 2010 – I was going to do so many things that I didn’t get done. I guess I need a kick in the pants and make some plans for 2011. What are you going to do? It sounds like you’ve already got everything you wanted. So what else is there?

    Hi June,
Thanks so much for the nice compliment. I think when you know something is right, or when it’s something you want so much that you just have to go for it, that that’s what you do because it’s right. Anyway, I appreciate your comments!

    Warmly,

    Cheryl

    Hi Randi,
No, going for your dreams isn’t easy. When I read your question about what am I going to do now, the phrase “I’m going to Disneyland’ popped in my head! I guess it shows what advertising can do, because I know that’s a line from an old television commercial, although I don’t remember which one. Seriously, though, I hope I never get to the point where I don’t have something to dream about and to strive for. I am very happy, and very lucky, and I guess what I want to do now is help other people make their dreams come true. I’m working on several ways of doing just that, so I hope you’ll stay tuned and I’ll keep you updated on what I’m doing next.

    Warmly,

    Cheryl
